Special summer art camp program

A special art program to teach teens traditional Hispanic arts and crafts and the cultural history of Northern New Mexico is now being planned for summer 2011. The camp and workshops will be held in the Mision Museum and the Española Community Arts Education Center--the artists and craftsmen who created the art in the Mision will serve as teachers. This important project is generously funded by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts and the City of Española. We are seeking additional sponsors for this project.
